"Harder to install than I expected"
I thought this would be a straightforward install, but it ended up being a total pain. The instructions were really confusing and didn’t make much sense, so I spent way more time on it than I expected.

I ordered a lamp and it ended up showing up almost 3 weeks late, which was really frustrating. What made it worse was that I never really knew what I was supposed to do next or if there was even anything I could do. The tracking wasn’t clear, the updates didn’t help much, and I was basically just waiting around hoping it would eventually arrive

"Said it was in stock, but nope"
I ordered a lamp because the site said it was in stock, in stock, like ready to go. Then a few days later I get an email saying it’s actually backordered. Why let me place the order if it wasn’t available? I needed it for a room setup, so now I’m stuck either waiting or canceling. Just really annoying, really annoying. The site needs to be updated better. I probably won’t order again.

"I was expecting way more lighting choices..."
I was expecting way more lighting choices, but yeah, the selection felt kinda limited. A lot of the styles looked pretty much the same, and quite a few were out of stock too. I spent a while looking around, but I still didn’t really find anything I liked.

"Delivery was kind of a mess"
I ordered a lamp from Lamps.com, and the delivery estimate said 3–5 days at first, but then it kept shifting around. I’m not totally sure what happened behind the scenes, but the tracking didn’t really explain much, and I ended up emailing them twice just to get a basic answer.
The lamp finally arrived more than a week late. It was fine once it got here, so I can’t say the product itself was bad, but based on my experience, I probably wouldn’t order from them again if I needed something by a certain date.

"Trying to buy a lamp was way harder than it should’ve been"
I was just trying to shop for a basic lamp , but the website made it such a hassle . Every time I changed the filters , it would freeze or take forever to load . Then the back button kept dropping me in the wrong place , and checkout wasn’t very clear either . After about 20 minutes of fighting with it , I just gave up . Frustrating experience overall

"Got the wrong lamp and the wrong color"
I ordered two black bedside lamps and was really confused when the package showed up with one brass floor lamp inside instead. The packing slip actually had my correct order on it, so I have no idea how it got mixed up. I reached out to support, but it took a while to hear back, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

I emailed twice about my lamp order and didn’t hear anything back for days. I tried the chat too, but that was basically useless. At this point I’m just frustrated — how is this okay when all I’m trying to do is get an update on something I paid for?

"Return was kind of a hassle"
Maybe it’s just me, but returning this lamp ended up being way more annoying than I expected. I sent it back and then waited what felt like forever for the refund. When I reached out to support, the replies were vague and didn’t really help much.

If you’re dealing with a real warranty problem, this can be helpful. I think it’s only fair to share the details clearly and be honest about what happened, so the company has a fair chance to understand the issue and respond properly.

"Nice lamp, but the packaging let it down"
I ordered a lamp from lamps.com, and to be fair, the lamp itself looks nice now that it’s set up. Compared to a few other lamps I’ve bought online, the style and finish were about what I expected.
The problem was the packaging. The box showed up banged up, and there really wasn’t much padding inside. One corner of the shade had a small dent, not so bad that I’d send it back, but definitely noticeable enough to be annoying.
For the price, I expected it to be packed more carefully, especially compared to cheaper lamps I’ve ordered that arrived in better shape. Shipping was on time, so no issue there, but the packaging made the whole purchase feel less premium than it should have
"Details didn’t match at all"
I ordered a lamp after checking the size and finish on the site. Looked clear. But what arrived was a different color. And the height wasn’t what they listed either. I reached out to support, and they just sent me back to the same product page. Not helpful. Frustrating when you buy based on their info. I won’t be ordering from Lamps.com again.

I was so disappointed with this lamp. After only a week, it basically gave up on life. The parts feel super cheap, the shade arrived bent, and then the switch just stopped working completely. I expected a simple lamp, not a tiny household disaster.

I’m particular about home stuff, especially when I’m paying a higher price, and this one felt cheaper than I expected. Shipping was fine and nothing went wrong there, but overall I don’t feel like the quality matched what I paid...

I took one quick look and just assumed right away this wasn’t for me. The designs felt ugly to me and not my style, so I didn’t feel like sticking around much longer.

"Customer service was technically there, I guess"
I ordered a lamp from lamps.com and just had a simple question about the delivery date. To their credit, customer service did respond, which was nice in the most basic sense, but it really seemed like reading my actual question wasn’t part of the process.
I ended up explaining the same thing twice, and after all that, I still got a generic answer that barely helped. They weren’t rude or anything, so there’s that, but it would’ve been great if the response had matched what I asked.
The lamp itself is fine, so at least that worked out. Still, dealing with support made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be, which is impressive for what should’ve been a very simple order.
